20 weeks/1 day

I went to the dr Wednesday for my 20 week appt. She said everything looks good and I gained 4lbs last month. She said I am doing great and growing the babies well. LOL. I go back in 4 weeks. My appt for u/s and dr appt is January 13th. Ale comes back to MO in January sometime. Other than that things are good. I will update again soon.

19 week/3 days

Pregnancy is going good. Just the usual stuff. It is starting to a bit more of a toll on me. It is hard bend over already. I guess cause I am squishing the babies when I do. It it harder to breath when I bend over too. I am guessing that is from squishing my lungs. LOL. It is getting to be harder for me to get stuff done cause I am gettign bigger. Also my back is starting to hurt some. I am sure it will just get worse and worse. I am managing for now. So not a whole lot to complain about. I go to the dr for my monthly check up on Wednseday. I also planned my monthly u/s the same day so I can make one trip instead of 2. So this Wednesday at 9:50 I have an u/s. And then at 10:50 my dr appt. I am attaching a 19 week picture. Actually I will attach 2 if it lets me.

18 weeks 1 day

Today I am 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant. The dr said twins usually come between 36-38 weeks. So if I have them at 36 weeks then we are half way there!!! Yay. Ale better be preparing for these 2 :) I have been feeling really good. Had some bad heartburn the other day and couldnt go to sleep til 1:30 am. Then last night I had a bad charlie horse in my foot. I couldnt get it to stop hurting for 30 mins. I layed in bed crying quietly. I didnt wanna wake my hubby cause he had to work this morning. When he finds out I was hurting and dint wake him up he will be mad at me. But I handled it fine myself. I am posting a picture of my belly also. It was taken yesterday at 18 weeks.

16 weeks 5 days

We had another u/s with our dr Friday. They guessed the babies as a boy and girl too. So we are pretty positive that is what they are. Today we had a regular dr appt. They listened to the heartneats and talked about when they think they will come. My dr said I am due April 30th. But with twins they always come before then. So she said she guesses April 1st to the 15th. If they are not here by then they will take them!! Yay. She is trying to keep positive about a vaginal delievery. She said as long as the lower baby is head down we can do a csection hoping the 2nd baby will turn after the 1st comes out or she could reach up and grab the baby by its legs and pull it out. But if things get bad then we do a csection. Ale was so sweet at the dr's office. She brought me 4 surrogacy shirts that she bought me and a beautiful gold necklace from tiffanies that has a big gold heart on it. The shirts say different things. One says do these babies make me look fat?? One says not the mama Im the stork, Another says somethign about surrogates being Angels and the last one says I make babies whats your super power. Too cute. I love them. Ale leaves Saturday to go home. I am gonna miss her. Friday night we are meeting with my inlaws and Ale for dinner. It will be there 1st time meeting. I am very excited for them to meet her. They say she must be a great person cause they always hear me saying such sweet thinsg about her. So now they can see for themselves. Oh yah. While at the dr today the doctor kept saying how I am a great candidate for a surrogate and for twins and that Ale was lucky to get a good surrogate. Ale said no shes the Best. It melted my heart. Soo sweet.

15 weeks 5 days today!!

I cant believe I am almost 16 weeks. Yesterday we went to an ultrasound place at 5pm. We found out that the babies are a Boy & Girl!!! The babies were moving like crazy!! They were so adorable. Ale was there with me at the Ultrasound and she got to see her babies moving and find out what they are. Her face was so lit up when they told us. And she looked so happy seeing the babies moving and be there for the ultrasound. It is days like this that I know EXACTLY why I am doing this!!! I am so happy to be helping them. They are gonna be the best parents to these 2 babies. As they already are to Ximena. When the ultrasound was over we went out to the waiting room while they cut the pictures. Ale called Ray and I could hear how happy she was by the tone in her voice while she was on the phone with him. And then when I spoke with him on the phone he just kept thanking me and telling me how happy he is.. This day wil be in my memory forever!!

Our next U/s is Friday. It is with our normal dr. So we get to see the babies again in 2 Days!! And then we have a regular dr appt on Wednesday!! Ale will be here for both of these. She leaves the 21st.

15 Weeks

As of tomorrow I will be 15 weeks. I will take a picture and post it on here tomorrow sometime. everything so far is going great. I really cant complain. I have the best IP'S (Ray & Ale) and an easy pregnancy so far. Ale & ximena fly into town on Sunday. They will be here for like 2 weeks. Our big gender u/s is Friday the 13th!! So next Friday. I will be 16 weeks then. I really hope the babies cooperate and show us there stuff!! LOL Anyways just wanted to say hi and update a lil. Wish I had more interesting stuff to tell.

12 week 4 day u/s

Sorry I didnt update after the u/s. I had my 12w4d u/s on Tuesday. It went fantastic. The babies both measured about a week ahead. And had hb's of 160's. They were jumping around in there like they were having a party. It was sooo cute. I am now 13 weeks today. Ale comes to visit on the 8th of November and stays till like the 24th or something like that. I am very excited to see her and have her with me at the next U/S. That should be the one where we find out the sexes if they cooperate with us. LOL.
